Job Description SUMMARYLead in delivering best in class service, front end operations and compliance through an in-depth understanding of the overall business and effective partnerships. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:* Complete store visits designed to reinforce customer experience standards and behaviors and drive front end efficiencies through reinforcement of company standards.* Direct stores and recommend strategies to improve the customer experience and improve front end operations.* Proactively identify district service and front end opportunities and support stores in the creation and execution of action plans for improvement.* Partner with the Operations District Manager, Human Resources Talent Manager and Merchandising Specialists to help achieve company goals.* Communicate regularly with business partners to ensure understanding and execution of customer experience and front end operations.* Analyze and evaluate customer opportunities and provide direction to impact performance.* Conduct roll out and support customer service and front end programs to ensure execution.* Ensure store compliance for Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) and Pennsylvania Food Merchants Association (PFMA) where applicable.* Responsible for key P&L categories relating to front end expense.* Direct front end and pricing functions and for all new store openings, remodels and special events.* Identify ongoing customer experience and front end needs and provide recommended actions and resources.* Identify, train and develop front end leadership. Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position does not directly supervise associates. Job Requirements Qualification Requirements To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:* Knowledge of total store operations with in-depth understanding of Front End operations and bookkeeping. * Specific positions of preferred experience; Assistant Store Manager, Front End Manager. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business preferred, plus a minimum of three (3) years' experience in retail operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Mathematical Skills Ability to work with mathematical concepts, such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Windows 10). Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations This position requires a valid driver's license for business travel. Physical Demands The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
