Candidate will provide support to PM DCGS-A at Aberdeen Proving Ground Maryland Monday through Friday 8-AM -5PM.Works closely with PM, briefs at mid to senior level meetings involving unit and PM leadership.Travel can be 25% of the time depending upon requirements. This is an ILSM position performing the functions and role as described below:

ILSM supporting PM DCGS-A, functions as a team member reporting directly to the Program Support Manager and Logistics Documentation Chief. As the ILSM, must have a broad range of ILS responsibilities covering the full spectrum of Lifecycle Logistics supporting the following systems:Analysis Control Enclave (ACE) Block II Family of Systems, Intelligence Fusion Servers (IFS) and Portable Multifunctional Workstation (P-MFWS). In supporting PM DCGS-A, position requires direct communication within all Product Teams, Functional Sections, the LRC, Fielding Coordinators & Fielding/Training Team members, TYAD & other Depots, AMC, HQDA, ASAALT, OEMs and more.ILSMserves as the SME ILS Action Officer to the Program Support Manager and Logistics Documentation Chief supporting all 12 of the DOD Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements IAW the DoD Product Support Manager (PSM) Guidebook.As an ILSM supporting PM DCGS-A, works closely with engineers to ensure the latest hardware and software will be compatible and properly documented. As the ILSM supporting PM DCGS-A, responsible for the following activities for my assigned systems:

  • Knowledge and experience working with PM DCGS-A Systems
  • Knowledge and experience working with and drafting Lifecycle Logistics Documentation
  • Basis of Issue Plans (BOIP)
  • Type Classification Coordinate and Assist Drafting Basis of Issue Plans (BOIP)
  • Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP)
  • Materiel Fielding Plan (MFP)
  • Materiel Fielding Agreements
  • Materiel Release
  • Maintenance Planning
  • Core Depot Assessment
  • Performance Based Logistics Concept
  • Computer Resources Support Management Plan
  • Interim Contractor Support (ICS)
  • Repair and Return Process
  • Spares Support - Essential Repair Parts Support Lists (ERPSL)
  • Organic Army Supply and Transportation System
  • Item Unique Identification (IUID)
  • Modification Work Orders (MWOs)

  • Requirements:
  • Must possess exceptional and mature interpersonal communications skills e.g. verbal, written, email, briefing/presentation.
  • Must possess strong MS Office skills in Word, Excel, Power Point, Access.
  • Understanding and experience with Military and Civilian etiquette.
  • Active Secret clearance,
  • BA or BS degree.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge and hands on experience with DCGS-A.
  • Familiar with US Army Acquisition Programs/Process A(ASLT).
  • No degree 5-10 years hands on experience.
  • Must have previous in-depth experience in Army or DOD logistical programs
  • Must have an in-depth knowledge of Army logistics as related to the DCGS-A program.
  • This is not a generalist supply position, candidate must have past experience in Army Acquisition process and understanding of life cycle management, RAM ,testing etc.
